This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.
Corbin Ellis is a digital-products business that sells downloadable planning tools, including the Ultimate Wedding Planning Spreadsheet. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. Questions? Email support@corbinellis.com.
Information you give us: your email address, when you request a free resource (such as the Hidden Wedding Costs Checklist) or subscribe to our emails; and purchase information, when you buy a product — our checkout provider (Payhip) collects your name, email, billing details and payment information needed to process the order. We receive your name, email and order details; we do not receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: basic analytics — pages visited, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site, via cookies or similar technologies. If we run ads (for example on Meta), a pixel or conversion tag may record that a visit or purchase occurred so we can measure ad performance. Where required, this is only enabled with your consent (see Section 8).
To deliver the product or free resource you requested; to send welcome and onboarding emails and, if you opted in, occasional wedding-planning tips and product updates; to process purchases, receipts, refunds and support; to measure and improve our website and advertising; and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
We use MailerLite (MailerLite Limited) as our email service provider to store email addresses and send emails. We only add you to marketing emails where you have opted in (free-resource requests and newsletter signups are treated as opt-in to related wedding-planning emails; transactional/product-delivery emails are sent to buyers as part of fulfilling the purchase). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link — unsubscribing is instant and permanent for marketing messages. MailerLite's privacy practices: mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Purchases are processed by Payhip and its payment partners (such as Stripe and/or PayPal). They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies and PCI-compliant security. We receive confirmation of your order and your contact email, not your card number.
Only service providers who help us operate, and only as needed: MailerLite (email delivery); Payhip and its payment processors (checkout); analytics and advertising providers (e.g. Meta) for measurement, subject to consent where required; and legal authorities only where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the EU/EEA. Where personal data of EU/EEA/UK residents is transferred, we rely on providers who use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Essential cookies keep the site and checkout working. Analytics and advertising cookies/pixels are optional — if you are in the EU/EEA or UK, these are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing including direct marketing; withdraw consent at any time; request a portable copy of your data; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email support@corbinellis.com — we respond within the timeframe required by law (generally within 30 days).
Email subscribers: we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, plus a short period for our records. Purchase records: as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years).
Our products and site are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We use reputable providers with industry-standard security. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We may update this policy. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
